8.1 is what I have here. And I'm reading the corresponding docs from the site..
I have some experience proting the stored procs. However - I don't
have much preference for that matter. Just remember - this decision
affects everuthing after it, and porting would be much harder.
However, I do find some Postgres-only features yammy :)
