View currently means - read the UMO information. The idea was (for the open server) - to create a group called 'public' and grant VIEW to this group on any created object, or do it during UMO publishing. This isn't implemented yet.
Default user has no default read or modification permissions on new UMOs. He can, however, use umo search, to allow some overview of the server. If he tries to open a UMO in search results, he gets an error ~ "Can't view UMO".

I'm trying to figure out what we decided
on following access-related issues:
- What exactly VIEW permission means
- Who and when gets it
- What kind of permissions "default" user has
Ilya.
